WORK STATEMENT
I dedicate this series of paintings for women all around the world who became a victim. After seeing the ArtherapyHQ pages on Instagram, I think that these paintings match the theme "Ending Violence Against Women".
The paintings illustrate bruised women who strike a pose just in the oil paintings we see on display at a museum or gallery.
The painting series is about raising awareness of Ending Violence against women.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Since I was young, painting and drawing were my place to escape wherever I was bored. As I became a woman and mother, and after some unfortunate events in my life, painting and drawing also become my healing place.
I can think clearly when I'm drawing and painting. I'm able to focus and set goals to whatever I want to achieve. In 2016 I decided to study Fine Art and after finishing in 2018, I dedicated myself each day to art, especially to painting.
I believe that someone’s goals in life are not about personal goals anymore but to achieve their higher purpose in life for others. I hope that my art can reach people to have more awareness for domestic violence and abuse to a woman.
